 • In case of relevant work experience, mention the connection with the course.
 • Your long term Career Goals & how will you achieve them.
 •  Why are you applying to the particular institution & country?
 
Your SOP must be clear with short sentences, precise, honest, enthusiastic, and realistic and in a confident tone.

Letter of Recommendation (LOR)-Guidelines

The LOR plays an important role for an overseas applicant because it verifies the claim & provides the admissions committee an opportunity to learn more about the applicant as they do not often have the chances to have a face-to-face interview with the applicant.
2-3 LORs are required & it should be on the referee’s/organization’s letterhead with the respective stamp & signature at the bottom.
The referee should know the applicant either in an academic or a professional capacity.
LOR may be obtained from:
 • Professor/ Department Head/ Principal – He should be in a position to recommend the student on a academic performances & personal qualities like analytical, leadership & communication skills. The LOR should contain a realistic assessment of the applicant’s intellectual capacity & should substantiate the motivation for the course applied for.
 • Supervisor/ Employer – He should be a person who has been monitoring one’s working capacity, performance, duties & deadlines while on the job. The LOR should contain a realistic assessment of the applicant’s ability to work independently & any other special attributes. It should also mention how long he has known the applicant & in what capacity.
